its been raining hard and i love it
-
absolutely no one was at my workplace today since it's so rainy that no one wants to drive, so me and my coworkers sat on our asses and gossiped the whole time, 10/10
-
my dog is having a nightmare rn and its stressing me out
-
shes hyperventilating and whining but i dont want to wake her up bc she needs her sleep
-
she's fine, she just had a nightmare. she's acting perfectly normal now lol
-
in another life I'm a molecular biologist
-
i love biology so much, i love microscopes, genes, the ethics of genetically modifying DNA, all of it. I love everything about biology, but unfortunately it's just not in my skillset
-
id kill to be a biology teacher one day though
-
i love ap classes bc every once in a while i'll stress about having straight 70s on my tests (100% in all my assignments tho mwahaha) and then i remember that 70% as a lowest score means im definitely at least passing the AP test
-
especially since half of AP tests are written, and if it's a subject i like enough to choose to take an AP version of it, i'll make a hell of a paper on the contents of it
-
gahhh i have 2 math tests tomorrow im so cooked
-
its ok tho i did a s--- ton of extra credit work and worked my ass off on the homework
-
watched the Curious Savage with some friends and my boyfriend
it's genuinely such a good production, it's very commonly performed in High Schools (at least in America) and one of those performances that I would recommend to just about anyone. It's truly a fantastic play, and one of those that comments on society in such a succinct and profound yet comedic way -
it's about an elderly woman sent to a psych ward by her children, despite the fact that she is quite sane, and very intelligent. Her children are trying to find the fortune she inherited from her deceased husband, and refuse to let her out of the mental hospital until she admits where it is. While she is there, she meets some friends who are occupants of the psych ward, and they show the audience how insanity isn't far off from reality It's a commentary on "normal people", politicians (one of her children is a senator), and the blurred line between logic and madness. It's truly amazing, and a fairly short play

im gonna go to math tutoring today because i have TWO MATH TESTS next week
