I had a dream that Jayden was evil and he was trying to get Chester away from the castle for some reason idk and kidnapped Maeve too and they drove away romantically with Maeve in a box in the boot

I desperately want a remake of Rise of The Guardians with nothing but a slightly better animation style
I love everything about it and their personification of Santa and the little elves and the Tooth Fairy and Jack Frost and the visuals are amazing this movie is my childhood
And all the character designs are so beautiful but I remember being so pissed off with the designs for the sand man guy and Pitch Black, the boogie man
I wanted Pitch Black to have a more charming evil look that matched his voice and smexy body. It’s his face that’s the problem
I think I wanted the Sandy Man guy to be taller so I could ship him with Pitch Black
But peak movie I love it so much ah. One of my favourite childhood movies the aesthetics are so lovely. The only thing I would change is Pitch Black’s design. I love him as a villain so much but it’s hard to when he’s ugly as hell
I wondered why I loved Jack Frost when I was younger because he but now I know it’s gender envy and the fact I need a character just like him -

Spoilers for the new HTTYD
It was actually better than I expected. Great as a movie, fine as a remake
The pacing was a little weird tho, the time where Hiccup was training Toothless was really short and the Big Fight was stretched out. It was a bit weird but I didn’t mind it too much
They let us see Snotlout’s family’s dynamic but ignored all the rest of the characters in terms of backstory for some reason. I still hate Snotlout I don’t care if his father doesn’t care about him
And I’m like 90% sure that when Hiccup loses his leg, he makes his own prosthetic that has a joint system and functions better as a leg, and doesn’t just wake up with it, but whatever
The end where they’re back at the village was so rushed, and again the pacing was weird throughout the entire thing but other than that no complaints. It felt a bit more comedic than the original and had a lot less worldbuilding but that might just be me since I haven’t watched it in a while
I like it and recommend watching it, but if you have a lot of nostalgia from it you might get a bit pissed from the inaccuracies like I did. I’m not a huge nerd about it but I do really like the originals. Maybe don’t pay money to see it and wait till it comes out on streaming platforms, but it’s actually okay as a movie, just meh as a remake. Not awesome but not very bad either
Side note I HATE the CGI for the gronkle I’m sorry it’s so ugly I can’t leave that out -
