Is it easier to draw the chair first or.the person sitting in the chair?

I would do a very light sketch of the chair first, then do the person so that the person lines up correctly with said chair

I think I'll do the sketch of the chair first
Because one time I had someone sitting on someone else's lap and I'm pretty sure the guy's legs would have to get amputated or something
