I LOVE THOSE BOOKS! I haven't read all of them, though, because I prefer reading paper and not screen, but finally, I'm just like, 'screw it, I'm reading these online.'
I've read The Infernal Devices, the codex, The Magnus Bane one, and I'm reading the 3rd book of the Mortal Instruments right now. Literally. -
I've read the entire MI series, the Magnus Bane one, the Codex, and Lady Midnight. 😌 But as you can see, I own a couple others -

I'm blessed to have a family that loves buying books & has the income to afford them haha
But yeah, these series are SO good. The TV series doesn't do them any justice :'( -
I'm always at Half Priced Books buying books. It was awful one time, when there was an entire shelf of books I had been wanting, but I only had $20 at the time.
It's not free on amazon or anything that we have, so I haven't watched them. Tv rarely ever does, though. -

It's definitely not worth your time. When we still were paying for TV, I gave it a shot, but it was bad. The movie was also not too good either, and I bought it for $5 💀 -

The books are great. My friend said that he watched the movie after reading the book, and there was no comparison, that the books were definitely better.
When tv shows and movies mess up a book, it's just awful. My mom told me that one time she got so angry at how much they had messed this one book up that she threw batteries at the tv. -

There are things you can portray in a book that are next to impossible to replicate on the screen. There's a magic with words that you don't get visually. That magic is taken away like, says when there's a set appearance. Once an actor is put to a character, it's hard to remember what you imagined them like in your head. -

It's funny how, even though you've watched the movies, you still imagine the books differently from the movies. Like in Harry Potter, I imagine the Room of Requirement and the divination teacher's classroom to look differently and things like that. I also imagine Hagrid to be taller.
