the last time i tried putting together my computer i just sat with my head in my hands crying with a circle of cords ominously surrounding me

sometimes, it's ok to just feel happy and proud of yourself

sometimes, it's ok to ask for a manager when something is genuinely wrong with your order. i had to do that today and it felt illegal literally

like I'M the paying customer and here i am sweating about how i'm going to ask you to correct your own mistake. i was there for over an hour waiting for what should've just been a bowl and a burrito, and it was wrong when i got it lol

like, that's a valid reason to be upset from a customer standpoint. and from an employee standpoint, i'd quite frankly feel embarrassed and ashamed if i were still working in fast food. but that's just me, and not everyone has the same sense of urgency and people pleasing as i do

of course you gotta slap em with the "may i" "please" and "thank you" otherwise you're the karen

you don't gotta love your job but goodness me can you at least act like you care enough to have your bills paid. it's hard enough finding/keeping a job in this economy. ok rant over, i'm gonna eat this lukewarm burrito now
