Yeah. They've made some of my favorite movies- Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle (both the book and movie are fantastic) and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Not a Ghibli movie but Hayao Miyazaki also directed the fantastic Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cagliostro.

Ahh. Have you seen From Up On Poppy Hill? I just recently watched it with my dad and I'm interested in your opinion on it.
Also The Wind Rises is fan-f---ing-tastic and I almost cry at the end every time -
I haven't seen those two. I'll have to watch them. :0 I'll let you know what I think after I do. I'll probably love them.
Have you heard of Makoto Shinkai? He directed Your Name, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, Garden of Words and a few othe flicks. They're really good movies.
I dunno if you have netflix or not, but on Netflix there's this movie called In This Corner of the World which is set in WWII and follows the life of a young woman who lives near Hiroshima. -
I haven't seen any of those but I've been meaning to watch them. They keep showing up everywhere, ever since I watched Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice), which actually makes me sob like a drunk middle-aged mother every single time. Your Name is at the top of my list right now, then 5 Centimeters Per Second, and I guess the other two after that.
I haven't watched that yet, because I guess I've been waiting for the right time to watch it. I'll probably go ahead and watch it tomorrow. -
I loved A Silent Voice. It made me very sad. I was trying not to cry cause I watching it with my brother but at the very end I looked over and he was crying so that was my ok to cry xD
