Tbh it's somewhat based on the Plesiosaurus, a dinosaur that was a water dweller. -
But Nessie is real and alive. People have seen it. I think I saw it when I was five.

If you say so. I mean, I believe in spirits and those said spirits being able to possess objects like fence gates. To each their own, I guess.
