I hate teachers who do this.
I was hoping my biology teacher would change my grade to an A (it's a B+). I've done all my work. But a stupid seed germination plant project brought my grade down. I can't grow plants! I'm terrible at doing so.
I go and ask if she can change my grade, and she says no.
Two seconds later a girl asks the same question. She says, "Yes, you can do an extra assignment over break and I'll change it for you!"
I specifically told her I was willing to do any extra work. Like, why does she get to change her grade? What's so different about her?
God, I hate my teachers. -

You should've went back up there and asked her about that extra assignment.

I mentioned doing an extra assignment and she literally said, "I can't think of anything right now. It's too late in the year anyways."

But you should have asked her again if she said yes to that other girl. I think your teacher may be playing favoritism.

I should have but I would have felt demanding and rude. And if she told me no again, I probably would have gotten an attitude and end up with a referral.
