Referring to the usage of animals for cosmetic AND medical use. Just curious on people's stances on it.
I'm personally against cosmetic use of animals, but not always for medical. It's situational when it comes to medical animal testing- depending on the treatment of the animal, what type of testing and for what disease. -
nope nope nope, no slaughter houses, no abuse, none of that, no cosmetics, nothing. in some circumstances i'm fine with medical testing on animals as long as the animal doesn't get hurt from it and/or is treated poorly

As a vegetarian for around a year now, I think I'll express my opinion on the listed topics.
I'm against the way animals are handled in slaughter houses. Pigs and cows are hung by their feet, stunned (which isn't always effective) and have their throats slit. Same with chickens. Baby chicks are sexed and then thrown into yes and no elevators. If they are female, they are accepted. If they are male, they are thrown into a grinder. The egg industry is gross. Cows are kept pregnant year round for milk and are often treated unfairly on farms. I do not agree with this and do not consume milk (although I'm still working on dairy products) and don't eat eggs. I also do not wear leather or fur.
Abusing your pets is wrong. Period.
Cosmetic testing is wrong. Animals are mutilated for your makeup and people turn a blind eye to it daily. Really?
See my opinion on medical testing. -
I saw a movie on this topic in Animal Science wgen I was in 10th grade. When they are killing a cow all.. I get really upset, so no. I'm not very happy about that. Abuse? No. As for testing, what Maddie said.

No, I'm not vegan. I'm vegetarian but I don't drink milk (except for in my cereal but I'm working on it) and I don't eat eggs mainly bc they're gross.
I still eat things that contain milk and eggs though. -

Is it possible to be in the middle? I've been struggling with for two years. The reason being is, well, the animal rights have it's advantages and disadvantages. -
