f---ing teacher counted me as a girl and then is like "are you okay you look a little off" and all I could do was shrug at her and look away and I keep being called a girl and I want to rip all of my skin off

No seriously you should definitely do that, a lot of my friends have and it forced the school to change their email so it used their preferred name.

Yeah. Also, with registration each year (it's sent home with students and they have to do most of the filling out) there's a section for your legal and preferred name. It's meant for nicknames, but a lot of students have used it to force others to use their name of choice.
