And then they get locked up for a while and then later the girl is tied up and her toes are crushed by the killer. When he unties her, she beats him with some tool(I think this is how it goes, my memory is a bit foggy) and runs out of the house with broken toes and the little boy. While they're running the killer is right on their heel, and she soon trips and falls, and tells the boy to keep going. When he takes a leap, he jumps through the movie screen and the police later find him and ask him questions. When he answers about what happened, they don't believe him. -
