Coldest: Yes, let's totally defy the way robots work. FNAF is suppose to be a scary and suspenseful game series, not anything else. They can do whatever the f--- they want, their choice to ruin the whole point of the game and make the fandom worst than it was before, I don't control anybody's actions. But, it's not right.

It seems like pretty much the entire FNAF fandom is all about making cute animatronics rather than the frightening ones that are canon, and that have complex emotional ranges and tragic backstories, I guess. I just don't see any reason to be mean about what they choose to do with their works of fiction. They're keeping to themselves and enjoying what they're doing. It seems harmless enough to me.

The point of roleplaying is to sometimes bend the rules and create whatever you want and have fun with your roleplaying partner as you go along and make a little story/soap with your characters. Plus, they're newbies, so I really doubt that they're going to be extremely realistic and stuff like that. We all had those soaps as newbies when we didn't know what we were doing but we still had fun anyway. Let them enjoy their roleplaying, it's quite rude of you to talk them down like that when they're just trying to enjoy themselves.

Coldest: Agreed. But, ehhhh it just rubs me the wrong way. Some of the characters are Nary Sues/Gary Stus which is a turn off.

That's a mistake most people make when they're just starting out. They'll learn as they progress. Besides, if you don't like the soap, you could just choose to stop stalking it.
