And when they cast them out and torment them, it gives them the illusion that they're the hero. C: See how humans work. They want to be little saviors and try to creep out that unfathomable and morbid hile they dug themselves into, and they find that very oppurtinity to be a "hero", to feel like you're doing something right. You don't look at the deep end, dears. You look at the surface, as it might show your reflection but not within.
