They give these fan girls the illusion that they care and they make them cute and relatable and somehow be a savior to these loss causes lives. Some girls have the extent to know they're just celebrities that are like 1% impossible to meet and they're just self-aware casual fans that aren't lunatics. Some of them are unfortunately not like that, and the example is that crap you showed.

If they died, there will be stupid melancholic grief for a year or more, and then America and the rest of the globe will move on. If the fans killed themselves because they think their lives are in the hands of untouchable celebrities, the world and their closest relations and families and friends will "grief" and the world will go on. If I died, people that know me and my family will grief and the world will go on.
But sincerely since this is an empty death threat, it won't happen. Your "idols" will keep singing you sludge for as long as they're popular and thriving, which the fandom maintains that. -
