It's taking IP addresses from users and instead of directing them to the site, it'll send them to another site while using GoToQuiz's URLs as a decoy to get in. I can't explain it because I'm not techy, but I know it's taking IP addresses from the servers and sending random users to ad sites. -
It won't affect you if you open another site up, but upon opening GTQ the virus will redirect you elsewhere.

It's just stupid adware that's affecting the site. Wonder why it says "domainname=qotoquiz"?

It's not affecting everyone. It's only taking a few IP addresses at a time and then affecting those IPs for certain hours at any given time.

Yes, but anyone can get a hold of your IP address if they know how.
