Agreed, (ha Castiel) the male gayness is adorable but considering the following that homestuck has, and the people I have met who are Homestucks, I would have expect much more lesbian.. whats the word... pride? Close enough. More pride than I have seen in the artist and writers i have encountered.
Yes, but I think that would make it much more interesting, seeing how far they pushed each other. Obviously a pale would be needed, so they didn't off each other completely. -
You know, this is another issue I've been irritated about lately, so please bear with me if I start to ramble. I think the reason there's so little fanfiction for that particular ship is that those two characters weren't given half the characterization they deserved. Neither of them were given the focus that a lot of other characters were. They were just kind of put there and made a crutch to another character's arc. Nepeta, I think, was a little more well known. Her death told us something about her, and we learned a little bit about her, but not much we could write a really accurate character off of. Feferi was given even less. She was there entirely for the purpose of moving along Eridan's story. It's really hard to write from the perspective of a character who just isn't given substance. Aradia is another, really.
The only divine being worth praying to. Yes, absolutely. My children are all precious. Keep drawing my boys, by all means. But please give my girls the attention they deserve, too.
I believe that's ashen, actually. Pale is Moiraillegiance. Ashen is Auspisticism. I thought that the purpose of an Auspitice was to prevent an already tense relationship from crossing the line into Kismesitude, but I may be mistaken. Back to the ship at hand, though, I don't know how I feel about that. Vriska did something pretty unthinkable to Aradia. Using Sollux against her was really s---ty. I don't think they could have that kind of attraction to one another, although the hatred would easily be present. The thing about Kismesitude is that it's a relationship in which your line of thinking is something like, "I'd really like this person if not for ____". I'm not seeing any liking between the two. -

My understanding was that Ashen could be used for both but I may be mistaken. True, Aradia would never go for it, Vriska is quite the 'evil' persona. Although I guess they have all done their own eil deeds in one way or another. The hatred they share maybe the only thing linking their black romance.
Another thought, there's a large following for Erisol in spades. I can see it, but considering the things Eridan did to him, and Feferi I also think that's something that couldn't be in spades.Their hatred for one another is quite pure.

I happen to be a huge shipper of black Erisol, but I think you're right. I honestly don't think it's a realistic ship.
