I think her summer holidays have started she couldn't get on anyway
she can only get on at school

What if they can't check the email right now, so they're only having their memory to rely on? I've had that happen. Actually, once people were arguing over whether one of my multis was me, so I just posted in this account, and they believed me. But this person can't do that, apparently, so that just proves moe that it isn't Jinx. I know her well enough that by this time she'd have come out of 'hiding' if she even was.

Okay i'll accept some of that but I don't think you can say you know her well enough that she would come out of hiding by now - people can be surprising.
But you must know who is in your email contacts? Who emails people they don't know? -
