@SG donkey kong has been sold by RARE entertainment, the original developers of the donkey kong country series, so the new owners of the franchise dont do much with the series as of today. crash bandicoot is just much less unknown, and some companies fear he wont appeal to the current generation as much as he did back then. SEGA dug sonic into a pit, so thats SEGAS own fault. and LOZ has actually gotten alot of attention as of late.
