Here's the shaky plot:
Years into the future, people started popping up. These people had strong magical abilities; god-like ones. People admired them- but some where afraid. These people wiped out the government and created their own. People tried to rebel, though they were usually shut down. After many different attacks from those who disliked them, their view on those who didn't have magic changed. They were seen as a burden. A threat. And so they decided they should be the only ones to roam the earth for many years. However, they didn't want to kill the "boring ones", oh no. They used their magic to encase all living things inside crystals. There, they would be frozen in time for the next 100 years.
Now, 100 years later, people are being released from their crystallized prisons. New leaders have risen, the children and grandchildren of those who had originally encased the human race. The confused people are given only advice; They will be allowed to do as they please, however, rebellion will result in being encased for a certain amount of years.. Or death.
A small group of teenagers have decided that they do not want a world where people that are just like them but are only enhanced are ruling. They decide to take the risk of losing everything they have to bring up the entire human race to fight the rulers. The only question is.. Will they succeed, or will everyone who takes a stand be crystallized for another 100 years and more? -
Yeah we tried to stop my character from being burned. We failed terribly.

Somewhat reminds me of Shin Megami Tensei IV but clearly there are some big differences.
