Okay, well, the way I see it was that Alex got mad at you guys for supposedly keeping secrects (which was kind of childish because everyone should be allowed to have secrets), and then the topic of grades came up. And then Alex said that his weren't too good, and you said that it was because of the emos, goths, and depressed people that he hangs out with (which isn't true because I was depressed, but I still had good grades, and I also had a friend who was a goth, and she was very nice and also had good grades, so that was your fault). And then batman came in and used a bunch of "f---s", which was highly unnecessary.

But I do think that if they want help, then they should open up more because you can't read their minds, and it's the Internet, so you can't go off of their facial expressions.

I remember when all of the emos and goths on here started getting in hourly arguments with everyone else. Lol. Good times...

I think with being so shelled up is because depression and sorrow tend to be very selfish illnesses. When you are hopeless and unhappy, you tend to think it won't matter anyway.

the rain NewbieIt's a lot deeper then that.
For months now alex has burrows himself in a self wadding putty and despisement. He wouldn't open up to anyone and expected sympathy and 100% attention drawn to what he did put in the light. (Which wasn't much) He has been withdrawing from us all ,ore and more and his depressing and self-esteem has dropped-raised dramatically over the last few weeks. He never told me why. Or maybe he did but I didn't see it.
and I don't know what to do, I am not going to give sympathy because I didn't know what I was sympathizing. -

I don't think depression is a selfish illness because in most cases with depression, you just feel really unhappy and sad, but you don't know why. I think it starts to become selfish when you know why you're depressed, but you don't try to fix it.
