My grandfather is dying. The one who stole my horse from me. The one who told me if I wanted to kill myself so badly, he'd give me a gun. The one who called me names and has been a complete ass to me and my sister. The one who was abusive to my grandmother. I hate him. And everyone is crying and stuff and I just really don't know how I should feel because I hate him. I really do. -

Yeah. I just.. I want to care, but I can't. And I feel like a s---ty person because of that.

You don't always have to care. Deep down, somewhere, you care. And if someone has pushed you that much, it's okay to be in a spiteful mood. I've done it. I cried later. No one blamed me for it. Should be the same for you. If you can't care right away, get rid of the all of the hate first. That way you can care and cry without the hate.
