  HP: hmm... Well, usually explosions are caused my fission or fusion, but then again that's nuclear explosions. Other times explosions are caused by the sudden change of potential energy to kinetic energy... There's also Chemical Explosions which are usually formed by Decomposition, so I guess the only forms of Chemistry that "explodes" are Decomposition, and Combination which only work with certain elements from the periodic table; such as potassium nitrate, carbon, and sulfur which creates gun powder. Add potassium nitrate, carbon, and sulfur together with heat and you get an explosive reaction. So I guess Chemistry sometimes explodes? I'm not really sure, I'm not a scientist xD

  Oh yes, then there's also physical explosions in which something is put under so much pressure, it just explodes. Think of it like a water tank. Too much pressure and the tank explodes. Or a blood vessel; something clogs it up like a blood clot then it just bursts.
