Do they not understand how the food chain works in the ocean? If they make the top predator go extinct, every other specie will begin to overpopulate. They will destroy the marine ecosystem, which isn't a good thing because thousands of marine animals will also go extinct. -

It's mostly people in Asia because of the whole shark fin soup, which I hope anyone who eats that dies of mercury poisoning.

it may be delicious, but its no excuse to possibly endanger a species because of it. :P humans are pathetic sometimes.

Do you know how they get the fins? They take the shark out of the water, while it's still alive, cut off it's fins, and then throw the body back into the ocean, where it later drowns.

Or just leave them alone because we really don't have any business being there in the first place. It's not our habitat. We can't live in water.

@UE: true, but remember, americans love fishing just as much. if you watch all those fishing shows, alot of sharks die in them.

Its the Asian countries that are doing most of the bad things, destroying the world. The pollution and overpopulation and the way they treat animals. They need to be vastly wiped out or the majority at least.

welp, asia is already pretty pissed of, especially with that movie that was pulled back about two guys going to kill kim-jong ill.

Yeah I heard about that. Its sounds wrong but I really dislike most of the Asian countries, hopefully a big asteroid will hit them

I don't think they need to be wiped out. I just think there should be laws put against this stuff because they also kill whales, and that makes me mad too. And then if there is a boat seen fishing sharks, whale, and dolphins, then it should be blown up.
