I had like a half hour of work left. .3. It was fine. Soldier through and whatnot.
Stress
She told me that if I wasn't out by ten she was going to write me up and cut my hours and I was doing my best but I hadn't stopped seeing to customers for three hours straight and by the time it was an hour before we closed, I still hadn't touched my lobby and these motherf---ers were still coming in and I was freaking out and on the edge of a panic attack because if she cuts my hours I won't be able to pay my mom or save up for a car so I can get the f--- out of here -
Good god. Reading that made me stressed. I can't imagine how it was for you. I would've cried too. Is there a less stressful workplace that's hiring?

I know some people that can cope well enough with it not to cry under extenuating circumstances.

They probably yell a lot though. I've never seen my dad cry, but when he gets really stressed out, he yells at everyone.

If I'd been pushed much further tonight, I worry I would have disintegrated. I would've started sobbing my eyes out, gotten down as low as I could and stayed there until the crying started to affect my ability to breathe. People may yell, but they continue to function. They get their s--- done anyway.

I'm alright. I'm writing a story and I told my mom that I'll be giving her whatever I have on Monday, so she can read it on her flight, but I'm worried that I'm going to screw it up like my others. What about you (other than the fact that your hand is burned)?
