  It really depends on the family. My family usually gets our tree up around Thanksgiving.
  
  Neither do I. I celebrate Yule, but my family celebrates Christmas.

  aadee: it depends on the person. Last year we didn't get ready until a week before. Now we've got the lights, but no tree.
