Just avoid the people who you don't want to talk to. And if they come to you, then ignore them. Be the bigger person. I honestly think that the first person to apologize to someone shows that you're mature. And if they don't accept it, then it shows that they're immature, and you can get on with your life because they're still dwelling in the past by not forgiving you, while you let it go by apologizing.
