Really? It's probably the opposite. Anyone named Jeff can bleach their hair or dye it the same color and cut their cheeks open. Anyone can pretend to be a psycho killer. It's more likely that there would be a Jeff running around over a tall faceless dude that has tentacles and s---.

The sightings are obviously fake. He should have one forest to protect, not a bunch of random ones that he can watch over at all times. Like, wtf. How can people really say they've seen him at different places if he only protects one fuking forest with one set of eight pages? It's very unlikely that someone with magical abilities exists.
Besides, if you can believe in a TALL AS f--- GUY THAT HAS TENTACLES AND EATS CHILDREN WHEN HE DOESN'T HAVE A FACE, you can believe in a pale faced psycho killer that is driven on rage and hatred. Maybe Jeff secretly sleeps. Maybe he eats and that's what keeps him from falling flat on his face. It's way more likely that there's a pale skinned boy that likes to kill over a monster. Besides, Jeff is prettier. Pretty things always win. -
