Yesterday I wasted my time going on a car ride with my mom because I thought I'd be able to get a game. The store didn't have it. She told me she'd pick me up from school so we could go to the only store that does. And she said she didn't have to, therefore she wasn't going to. She KNEW I wanted the game. She KNEW I wanted it really badly. But she lied to me and said she'd take me just to tell me that it was "too much work". I know it's stupid I'm getting worked up over something stupid, but it makes me upset to know she doesn't care about my feelings. I got stuck watching my sister pick out her little toys for thirty minutes.

I'm sure she cares, but she does this every year. She pretends to care and then lies and says she's too busy when she isn't.
