I'm gonna be bluntly honest here. She's not unattractive. But I can see how someone could mistake her for a guy. She has an androgynous face.
That doesn't mean I don't like her appearance. Envy and Grell are androgynous and they're f---ing hot so. -
And what does a "woman" look like? Long hair? Dresses? Appearance doesn't make your gender. Plus being honest is good, but it's not always okay to say something ole that. In this case Anime was cool with it but that could have been taken offensively.
