so the first thing is draw, draw, draw! Then share it (deviantart.com is the best place) to know others' opinions and realize your mistakes.
Don't care about offensive comments cause you're still a beginner. You have to make mistakes to learn from them! And care about the critiques!They're very helpful.
Hang them on the wall and keep them there. Sometimes you see your old works' mistakes as you become better by practicing each day!
Don't draw more than you can during the day.I myself draw only once day. But I HAVE to draw everyday!
Search for tutorials about shading and perspective. These two are the skills you need to learn! I took art classes for these two though the teacher wasn't good so I searched for tutorials also. -
