  Saiyuki is an anime based on an old Chinese story. It's quite hilarious with emotional moments on the side.

  The first one pissed me off a bit because half of it wasn't part of the manga. But still fun to watch.
  
  Warning though, the seasons that came after the first have voice changes because of different companies and such.

  The only thing similar is that figbt scenes last too long.
