Can you explain to me what grades as in years in school are where I live we have different setup

Uuggh.. In school where I live we do not have grades as in school years . could you please explain what they are ?

Ohh. Okay.
Well, grades split up different age groups, making sure kids learn things at the right age. The grades are:
Pre Kindergarten
Kindergarten
First grade
Second Grade
Third Grade
Fourth Grade
Fifth Grade
Sixth Grade
Seventh Grade
Eighth Grade
Ninth Grade
Tenth Grade
Eleventh Grade
Twelfth Grade
Oh, and if you do very poorly in one grade, you don't get to move on in the next. For example, if someone in third grade makes all F's, they will stay in third grade for another year. -
What age would third grade be
I only know one kinder garden 3 -6 ? -
Where I live we have years and classes

Pre Kindergarten- 4-5
Kindergarten 5-6
First grade 6-7
Second Grade 7-8
Third Grade 8-9
Fourth Grade 9-10
Fifth Grade 10-11
Sixth Grade 11-12
Seventh Grade 12-13
Eighth Grade 13-14
Ninth Grade 14-15
Tenth Grade 15-16
Eleventh Grade 16-17
Twelfth Grade 17-18
This is the normal ages for these grades. If someone doesn't fail any grades, they will be this old in each grade. -
Some people skip pre-k.
Also, students with exceptionally high IQs have the option to skip a grade. -

OK these are the normal years
Play school 2-3
Junior infant 4-5
Senior infants 5-6
1st class 6-7
2nd class 7-8
3rd class 8-9
4th class 9-10
5th class 10-11
6th class 11-13
Then you go to a secondary school.
1st year 12-14
2nd year 13-15
3rd year 14-16
4th year/transition year 15-16
5th year15-17
6th year17-18
You can skip play school and transition year this is just average ages. There 2 a guys in my class and there 10 and one guy is 14 ( I'm in 6th class )
Ok playschool is one school then you go to a primary school junior infants to 6 the class then you go to a secondary school 1st year to 6th year then you go to college ( which I'm sure you know )
