Mom: Awful grades!
Me: You told me to get at least C's! I still passed the class!
Dad: You used to be so good--you got honor roll left and right.
Mom: Like it was a usual thing. It was.
Dad: You're such a bad girl. You don't try!
Me: But I tried to raise my grade before the nine weeks ended! I didn't have enough time to raise it to a B!
Dad: You're a retard! A dumb--- little girl!

You know, my parents are kind of like that too. Whenever I get a grade, even an A, they still say, "You can do better. Don't strive to just pass. Strive to excel." They never praise me for my work, all they do is criticize.
