XShidoKusubanaX NewbieIf you ask for s--- don't get mad when it's given to you. Saying someone lacks creativity because they go by the book and learn proper HUMAN anatomy is bulls---.
You have to go by the book first before you start bending the rules and go in your own style and direction, where you add s--- tons of color and draw cartoony or anime(well you can now but atleast learn human anatomy to help). It's actually easier if out start out that way.
But my method is mixing in my style and going by the book at the same time. Because cartooons and colloooooors -

My art isn't rejected. People say they like it alot. The people in my class say that is so amazing. This other girl said I could make money off of my art. 3 of my teachers says my drawing talent is awesome. My mom supports me with my art, My whole family says that I can draw, My cousins dad says I draw really well. 50 percent of people that known me through 4th grade to my current grade liked my art and wanted me to draw for them.

My whole family says I should b e a doctor. None of them believe in me. I didn't grow up a princess, okay? I've gone through fcking hell. I only started drawing last year. People tell me I'm amazing at what I do, but I don't do it for them, I do it for me. I love it. It isn't a challenge. It's what I do because I could never live without it.

XShidoKusubanaX NewbieThey're your family. They're being nice. They probably have no artistic talent at all so when they see yours it's the f---ing Mono Lisa. You won't get rejected by them but you will but any comic company your try to get in to. You need to research this s--- too because it's harder in japan to be a mangaka because japanese people usually just give them to other japanese people. Being of a dif nationality is hard. My being black prolly won't help either but I'm going to work hard as f--- so I can make a manga and just make it in the world. My family supports me too, my art teacher tries to get me in to art contest, I'm worshipped as an artist but I don't like that. I'm getting some more lessons in the summer, my aunt is doing that for me.
