Yeah, one kid on my team (not sure how he got on :P) got 0 out of 4 on one of the practice runs :P
He say he was there because he was told there were friends, pizza, and a competition, nobody told him about the math. -
Well, I can tell he probably doesn't like math, then.

I competed in mathcounts in 8th grade. It was really fun--my team got 6th place! I still have the shirt that my teacher bought for us afterwards.
