Please help me! I'm waiting outside my college/uni and I really need to know how to make friends :(

Be yourself! You seem like a nice person and I bet you'll get along just fine.
Greet people is the main one. Tell them hi and ask how they're doing, introduce yourself if they seem comfortable. If they act like you're a weirdo, it's okay. They won't remember you after long anyways.
Oh, and you'll for sure get invited to college parties too. Don't drink, but if you do make sure it's safe, and just chill with the people there! -
Don't make up a new personality to win people over. Just smile and say hi, or whatever you would normally say.

Yeah, greet people. But don't just randomly walk up and say hi. Wait until you've got a relevant subject to talk about, then introduce yourself and discuss said relevant subject.
You also have to be adaptable, the same formula doesn't work for all people, unfortunately. You have to learn what each person likes and adapt to it. -
