I've taken down more troll accounts than all the mods and gotoquiz guy and I'm still viewed as the bad guy >.>

You should still zip around when you're on.
The point of being a moderator is to check and make sure nothing serious is going on. If there's an issue, you bring it up with the big man himself. That's why having moderators on a site like this is rather difficult.
You can't trust really young people to do it, not always anyway, and older people have more to do in their lives so their activity is less frequent.
