We're going to be testing out the whole concept of mods here, so there could be some glitches at first. Basically the idea is that mods have extra "offensive link" power, so one click from a mod will gray out a post. A second click from a different mod on the same post will most likely delete it. Mods can work together that way.
Another thing is that mods can check a checkbox before submitting a post to turn on their "moderator voice" (this frames their post in blue with the word "Moderator" at the top). This lets mods speak with authority to give someone a warning to calm down, or to try to avert drama or an argument.
What does the "offensive" link do besides graying/deleting posts? Two things. 1) receiving offensive points can lower the weight of the offensive points you can give to others' posts. 2) receiving offensive points can increase your delay between posts. So instead of waiting 20 seconds to make another post, you might have to wait a minute. Getting a whole bunch of points could disable your ability to post for hours at a time. These delays wear off after a few days or weeks.
