For me it was Bakugan and Totally Spies (Bakugan is an anime but it was originally done in English so I don't count it.)

My sister said, "Totally spies" and I was like, okay? And one night, I was bored, so I got on the family computer and watched the "Beauty is skin deep" one, and I got so attached to it, then I found a video near the totally spies one "Sailor Moon episode 2 " I clicked it, and then did research on it, and apparently got addicted and excited about Anime and Manga and Japanese culture.

Yeah for me I was rewatching Bakugan New Vestoria and in the comments a lot of people were saying that when Elfin changed elements it looked like Sailor Moon. So I searched Sailor Moon on youtube and watched the first couple episodes. Then I watched all 200 episodes. xD
After that I searched for Magical Girl Anime and watched a bunch of those. Then I just searched for Fantasy Anime in general and I'm starting to watch more and more of those. -
