I'm trying to let you know that your words hurt me, a lot more than the tallies on my side or the bruises on my face, more than the pain of having any sort of illness. Maybe the things that hurt me the most are the truth, maybe I think I can change my life by looking at it in a positive light. Maybe I'm always pushed down again. Maybe I'm an idiot.
