My family wants me to live up to their expectations, being a straight A student and a hard worker, but I can't I can't live up to every f---ing expectation people in my family want me to do. I don't do good in academics, but I try. I don't do good in any sport, but I try. I don't do good with work, but I sure as hell try! My family, people who know me, hold so much over my f---ing head they want me to be perfect at. Well I'm sorry I have flaws, I'm sorry I can't be perfect, I'm sorry I can't be normal.

"Im sorry i can't be normal." What is normal? being perfect isn't normal either. Having flaws is normal. Apolagizing for not being normal is not normal.

Yep, I get that. My parents (actually, it's just really my dad) always compare me to my friend and ask why I'm not like her.

My parent yell at me for getting a B. Literally. But know inside that you try as hard as you can, and that's what matters.
