"We know." She realized she was a bit thirsty.

She nodded. "Wait, we? Who's we?"
Another nurse came in. "Can I get you anything Dr. Crimson?"
She smiled at the woman. "No I'm good." She turned to the girl on the examination table. "Do you need anything?" -
"The others on my planet." She thought for a moment. "Water."

The nurse looked at the girl funny but left to get the requested drink.
Dr. Crimson continued. "How long have you known about us?" -
"A little while," she answered simply.

The nurse came back with the water. When she tried to offer it to the doctor, she indicated to give it to the girl. The nurse looked at the girl reluctantly and offered the cup.

Soren looked at the water, and sniffed the cup. She then sniffed the nurse. She sat back, seemingly satisfied, and took the cup.

The nurse looked like she was going to faint, and it was all the doctor could do to keep from laughing at the woman walking quickly from the room.

She downed the water quickly and stared at the cup.

She began to put her utensils away. "Something wrong?"

"I have never seen one of these before." She tossed the cup on the ground. It made a muffled plink! and tipped onto its side.

She glanced over. "Styrofoam. I can imagine not. Or do you mean the cup?"

"Both." She frowned.

She finished packing up her tools. "I see. What's your name, I never asked."

She let out a short series of clicks and squeaks. "My Earth name is Soren, though. May I stand?"
