Sigh my parents are not really somewhat cool to be around.

Why not?
Because, after every basketball season, all the coaches in each division meet together to see which players get which awards. And all of the other coaches kept on putting my brother up for awards, but he couldn't be nominated for them because his coach wouldn't put him up for it. And this is his last year that he can get them too.
