Um I've been keeping diaries for I want to say three years, but I'm not sure. I kinda gave up around last year so I don't write much. Anyways, I really want to keep them to remeber those years and maybe some things in the future if I write once a week or something. However, I've put a lot of deep thoughts that I don't want anyone to see since they're recent. These thoughts include some that are violent, depressing, suicidal, and more. Say someone found them in 20 years I wouldn't care since I'd have time to change and develop, but since these thoughts are from a year or two ago, they'd think I have a problem and might send me to some sort of therapy. So what I'm asking is: should I keep them or get rid of them? I don't really have anywhere to hide them. :I

keep them and if anyone thouches them tell them to f--- off?

I would keep them as a memory to remind myself that I shouldn't ever do those things. But that's just me.

@Meg that's what I was thinking, but I need a spot where they won't find them. -
keep them in a box and label it: private?

I keep mine in my pillow case so I sleep on it every night. Or you could hide it in-between the mattresses.

@Meg I used to do that, but I got paranoid and once I put it in between the mattress and frame and my mom found it, read a couple pages, and got mad that I wrote I didn't like her. -
Then put it under your bed.
