Well, he got shot 5 times, in the chest. Took multiple shrapnel wounds. Took over 3000 rads (dosages of radiation), 3x the "survivable" amount. Two hours in freezing Siberian water, and he's encased in thirty feet of ice. Even a badass like me couldnt get out of that.
