Jake didn't reply, but gently laid down on the bed. He peeled off his sweatshirt, and pulled the covere over his headn

I didn't feel that good, I laid down under the covers and closed my eyes

Jake could barely fall asleep. He kept drifting, then abruptly woke. Soon, though, he took off his tee shirt, and hugged a pillow. Now a majority of the injuries he'd sustained from his father were exposed.

My eyes were still closed, I was trying to fall asleep

When he couldn't fall asleep, Jake put his hands to his hair, and FINALLY drifted to sleep. He snored lightly and shakily.

It took me a long time to get to sleep, I slowly woke up, it was morning, sunlight went in through the windows

Jake didn't want to wake up, but he did, peeking his head through the covers.

I slowly got up

Jake stood himself up, angry at himself for taking off his tee shirt. Now he would know something was up. Jake anxiously looked around for his shirt.

I saw lots of wounds on jake's body, I was really worried about him now, I didnt know how he got so hurt, "please tell me what happened" I said

Jake sat on the bed, criss-cross-applesauce. "I'm gonna cry, but fine..." he puffed.

I stared at him, I wanted to help him, he didnt seem to be bleeding, so he didn't need bandaids
