Well I joined the chess team this year so now every break throughout the day I go play there. I'm the only grade 8 girl that joined. There are only about 5 girls that joined. There should be 10 for the team. But there are a ton of guys. I played chess against a brilliant 10th grade girl. It took her the whole break to beat me! But she says I'm really good and I have a lot of potential.

At my school there's this giant chess board painted on the ground. The school has giant chess pieces. Sometimes the people play it there. Tomorrow I'm going up against the girl I played against today.
