Pretty much it's about a boy, Peter Pan, in "Neverland" (an imaginary land off of England where you never age). This girl, Wendy, and her brothers, John and Michael, all love Peter, but didn't know he's real. Wendy tells her brothers stories about Peter every night, but they'll soon end because she's being kicked out of the nursery. Then they all go to Neverland and yeah. I haven't watched it recently.
This song describes it kinda.
A "lost boy" are the followers/family of Peter -
