So I was hearing the Spanish news today on the radio, and I thought what I heard was a whole bunch of bullcrap. So then I watched the news and they said the same thing so now I'm just like "Those two are going to break my heart otl. D:"
About seven years ago, some famous French woman was held captive in a Mexican prison. Ever since then the powers in France have been trying their damn hardest to get her out, and finally they got her out this year, I think. I'm not sure.
So the French woman (or I forgot who it was but IT WAS A FRENCHY) said "Mexico is una porqueria!" (I'm not sure how you would say that exactly in English but I'm guessing you guys would say it "trash"?)
And so then the Mexicans are pretty f---ing angry. On my personal FB, my cousin has been telling me that a lot of people in the rancho had been like 'Let's beat those French people at war again just to show them how much of a 'porqueria' we are!"
This devastates me. So much.
I thought those two wouldn't start s--- up again. D: Come on. Cinco de Mayo was supposed to be the ending point in all the problems between those countries. We can't just f---ing bring that up again I mean seriously what are you thinking.
God everything is like a personal assault to them nowadays. T_T -

And I'm a bit worried too. There are a few French families in Durango that I knew and I don't know how the town will react. D: I just have to hope everyone hasn't lost their mind. -

Yeah, you're right about that. But you have to keep in mind that the last time France and Mexico had a war, the Mexicans were barely able to win with limited weapons and, most likely, rocks. s--- has changed in almost 200 years.. -
