Ontario heard gunfire in the distance. Fire exploded into the sky, making it bright with fire. The jeep stopped and he had no choice but to climb out of the jeep. Ontario fired his gun and people, and one by one they fell on the ground.

The battle seemed to stretch on for hours. The other forces were slowly dwindling, and soon some started to retreat. Alden held his fire then, not wanting to shoot at those who wouldn't be shooting back... Big mistake. Just as his guard dropped for a fraction of a moment, shots were raining upon them once more. It took the blond a moment to realize why his arm felt warm and sticky.
He'd been shot. God damn it, he'd been shot. The bullet had lodged itself between his collarbone and shoulder and blood was pooling, gushing, streaming down his arm; crimson against his tanned skin.

I watched as some of the others began to retreat. I shot people and watched them fall one by one.
